The IPSJ SIG on Computer Architecture (ARC) serves a community of researchers, engineers, managers and students related with computer architectures. ARC's interests includes Computer System Architectures such as processor, memory, I/O architectures, Parallel & Distributed processing hardware and software like parallelizing compilers, Architecture and software cooperative design, System on Chip (SoC), Innovative computing systems, Computer applications. ARC organizes technical meetings and sponsors or co-sponsors symposiums and workshops including

Meeting on Computer Architecture covering general architectural topics in Apr. or May
SACSIS (Symposium on Advanced Computing Systems and Infrastructures) in May or Jun.
SWoPP (Summer United Workshops on Parallel, Distributed and Cooperative Processing) in Aug.
Design GAIA,(Recent special topic: Chip-multiprocessor) in Nov.
Meeting in Jan. or Feb.
HoKKE (Hokkaido High Performance Computing and Architecture Evaluation Workshop) in Mar.

ARC also offers Trans. on ACS (Advanced Computing Systems) to members.
