| The seventh conference, HPC Asia 2004, will be held in Omiya Sonic City, Saitama in Tokyo area, Japan on July 20-22, 2004. HPC Asia 2004 will emphasize trends in Grid computing technology in addition to high performance computing technology. Grid computing enables the virtualization of distributed computing and data resources such as processing, network bandwidth and storage capacity to create a single unified resources for high performance computing. In the last few years, it gradually gained a prominent attention in HPC communities. The Grid technology can open up new area of discovery and analysis in time frames that were previously impossible. |
